Program Overview

The Global Entrepreneur in Residence (GEIR) program provides international entrepreneurs the opportunity to build their companies in Pittsburgh while contributing to local universities. Entrepreneurs receive guidance, mentorship, and access to resources to accelerate their ventures, while also enriching the region’s innovation ecosystem.

Eligibility

• International entrepreneurs seeking to scale their ventures in the U.S.
• A strong connection to innovation, research, or technology.
• Ability to contribute to academic programming at local universities.
• Must have an incorporated company in the US and a degree from an accredited university.
• Commitment to building in Pittsburgh’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
